Day 23 - Favorite Vacation

Ok, I see a theme here.... I am not good at picking one thing. Growing up we would take yearly summer vacations as a family and it was always something to look forward to. Driving to the beach!! "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" Taking those AAA maps and hearing.."No just two more pages" And of course one page in the entire state of Georgia!!! I remember saying as a child.... "Wouldn't it be fun to drive over those pages and be done with it?" Seriously...sometimes I wonder how I came up with some of this stuff!! Driving as a caravan down the highway and someone has to pee...trying to motion and play charades with other car trying to explain that we need to stop because someone has to pee. Grandma complaining that it's dark in the room...then realizes she still has her sunglasses on!!! Geez we use to have soooo much fun!!! As we all got older it has become harder for us to all go at the same time again. So it's really hard to choose just one vacation that was my favorite. Tim and I went to Gatlinburg for our first Vacation together and then went again right before Kendall was born as our "last" vacation together!! haha. I've been to Hawaii and our whole family flew to California for my cousin's wedding a LONG time ago and slept on the floor!! I mean we have had some great vacations. It's something I can't wait to experience with Kendall. I would love to continue to take her on yearly summer vacations. It's a great memory that I have in my childhood and would love her to have them too. So far she has been to the beach and to Gatlinburg and she's only 14 months!!! I say she is on her way!!!
