Mother's Day

So I decided to go home for Mother's Day and surprise my Mom. I also didn't want to spend my very first Mother's Day by myself. It was the first time that I had traveled with Kendall by myself. It was an experience to say the least. We left right after she was fed and I thought we'd be good to go. She was up the entire 5 hour drive, she exploded everywhere...carseat, myself, herself....my regular stop didn't have a changing table in a bathroom stall, so that made going to the bathroom interesting!! She also kept throwing her bottle out of the carseat and crying for it!! But we made it!! We had a great weekend with my family. Spent some time with my Grandma. Got to particpate for the second year in a row on the Mother's day activities...we have always been too far away. Although my flower planting abilities aren't great and I get fired. Although if you ask my Mom I get fired on purpose!!! Which might be true!! :) Overall it was a great weekend and I was very glad I made the trip. The drive back was GREAT!!! It was like I had a different daughter, she was soo good on the way back. I think I could do it again if I needed/wanted to.
