Halloween 2010

So it was Kendall's second Halloween but Tim's first one with us so we were really excited to be able to trick or treat this year. We started the weekend off with some pumpkin carving which didn't go as we had planned.We were hoping she'd get in there and get all dirty, but she's my girl!!! She hates gettting dirty. She didn't want anyting to do with the inside of the pumpkin. Tim and I were playing in it in hopes that she would too, but she just thought it was gross!!!

Then it was time for trick or treating!! We got Kendall all ready in her Butterfly costume!! She was not really digging the costume though.
But at least it was better than last year!!! We even got the hat on for a little while. It was soo cute to see her walking around in her costume. I just remember last year her costume was sooo big and wouldn't fit. She was sooo tiny!!! Now, just a year later we are ready to go out and trick or treat. It's amazing how time sometimes passes so quickly!! So we were ready to go and headed out to trick or treat. All Kendall wanted to do was run around the yard. She wasn't to interested in holding our hands so we already thought this was going to be interesting. We made it to the first hosue and there was just a bowl so we decided to try again. We found it was easier to carry her to the house and then she'd walk up to the door. As you can see, her favorite friend had to come along for the fun!!
She cant' go anywhere without that monkey!!! She wasn't too sure about what was going on and it just seemed to overwhelm her. So after 4 houses we decided it was enough and came home to pass out candy. Overall we had a great Halloween and can't wait till next year!!!
